Also, the points have been refigured for the 1936 season. The points system originally thought to have been introduced that year didn't actually take effect until 1937.

February 14, 2008 Update

Slowly but surely moving forward in time, today's update covers races form 1917-1924.

February 11, 2008 Update

Lots of miscellaneous tidbits tonight. Most of the work involves the 1910's, but the single biggest race update is the 1981 Pocono 500, where there were a bundle of inaccuracies in the chassis and engines, those have been fixed. As usual a bundle of non starters for various races have also been added.

February 9, 2008 Update

More early stuff, the main item today is a revamp of the results from the third Galveston race in 1913. The original results I had were completely garbled. Bad news if you're a Billy Chandler fan, since he's now removed from the all time winners list, turns out Louis Disbrow was the actual winner. Also I found first names for a batch of drivers I didn't have one for. The flip side of that is that I've found some new entries that I only have last names for, so the net gain isn't that big in that regard, but it's progress I guess!

February 3, 2008 Update

The main items today are a batch of listed hometowns and some additional NASCAR Speedway Division results. Also some biographical data today, as a batch of first names have been found, as well as two drivers who should have been combined into one and one who needed to be split into two.

January 28, 2008 Update

Plenty of updates from 1905-1916 tonight. The biggest items are a correction to the 1909 Cactus Derby results and a correction to the 1909 San Francisco results. There are also a bundle of nonstarters added, as well as some chassis/engine info and a few typos/mistakes being corrected. The next update will cover more 1909 events, I've got updates yet to do for a dozen races that season.

January 18, 2008 Update

This the very first post in the new RSS!
